Once in the passages that lead to Under the Mountain she is caught by the Attor, a creature in Amarantha's service, who brings her before her. When the Cauldron frees her, Feyre tries to kill Amren for betraying her but she explains that only her true form can kill all the remaining Hybern soldiers, who continue to fight despite their King having died. Afterwards, he is seen next to Feyre, looking visibly shaken. Nesta only agrees to come when Feyre says she will pay her rent if she comes. Cassian and Eris meet up to talk. When Rhysand and Feyre help Cassian, they talk with him and Nesta about the Wild Hunt and the exchange with Lanthys. Later that day, Nesta also tried climbing down the steps down and reached step 500. With Rhysand she is not a mere consort, she is the High Lady of the Night Court. Feyre is walking through the Rainbow (their version of a Times Square), both searching her gifts for her friends and family and looking at the damage wrought from the battle. This aggravates Nesta and she says flatly that she spent weeks watching Elain refuse to eat and drink, she mustnt be so different. Lucien and Elain's mating bond snaps into place. He stands up for Feyre Under the Mountain, helps her in her challenges and even risks his life to heal her. After, Nesta and Cassian talk about the Illyrians and The Blood Rite, where someone has to survive in Ramiel, the Illyrians sacred mountain. Gwyn meets Nesta and Cassian again for training. She realizes that the Night Court was watching her more closely than she expected. She again refuses his help but expresses that she is not so excited about going back to the Spring Court.
